Make Dr Garlic Juice
Description
Have you ever eaten garlic raw? It has a powerful, pungent flavour.
When added to cold pressed juice you get all the raw benefits as well as the intense flavour.
For this juice we have added some sweet tasting vegetables as well as a bit of chilli to hide the flavour a bit.
Ingredients
1 garlic clove
2 carrots
2 celery stick
2 tomato
1 sweet potato
1 jalapeño chili
1 daikon radish
Juicing Time: 3 mins
Juice Qty: 800ml
Preparation
Garlic (no prep)
Juice with the skin on
Carrots (10 sec)
Cut carrots lengthwise once
If larger carrots are used cut again lengthwise into quarters
Celery (30 sec)

You can juice the leaves if you like the bitter taste otherwise discard
Tomato (5 sec)
Remove the green stems
Juice whole
Sweet Potato (30 sec)
Cut into thin slices
Juice with the skin on
Jalapeno Chili (20 sec)
Cut of the stalk end
Cut in half length-ways and remove the seeds (the juicer will do it but it may add too much heat… up to you)
Daikon Radish (10 sec)
Cut lengthwise once like the carrots
Juice with skin on
Juicing Method
If you don't want to much garlic flavour save it to the end.
Keep the cap closed to start this juice off. I started juicing with the soft tomato's then I used the hard carrots to help push the tomato through before opening the cap.
When juicing carrots add one half at a time and let the juicer press them fully before adding more. Next I juiced the daikon radish, followed by the celery, one handful at a time as to not over feed the bowl.
Next, put the jalapeño and garlic into the juicer chute. Finish with the hard slices of sweet potato to push the garlic and chili through the press.
