Juicing is made easy with the Kuvings Cold Press Juicer.
INGREDIENTS
1/2 Honeydew Melon
2 Kiwifruit
1 Grapefruit
Mint Leaves - handful
QTY: 550 ml
Preparation
Honeydew Melon
Remove the outer skin (you can juice it, however it changes the taste)
Cut into thin strips or small pieces to fit in the chute
You can leave the seeds intact as they easily go through the juicer
Kiwifruit
Thinly slice the outer brown skin (you can juice it, however it changes the colour of the juice and taste)
Juice whole
Grapefruit
Remove the skin leaving as much white pith as possible
Juice whole or cut in half if too big to fit into the chute
Mint
Remove the leaves from the woody stems
Roughly chop the leaves
Method
Place the mint into the juicer first.
Next juice the kiwifruit individually.
Add the honeydew pieces slowly letting the machine press them through before adding more pieces. Both Honeydew and Kiwifruit are soft and need a little extra time to push through.
Add the grapefruit.
Tip:
When choosing a honeydew melon, look for the following characteristics:
Dull Appearance: Opt for a honeydew with a dull, non-shiny outer surface. Shiny skin typically indicates an under-ripe melon.
Pale Yellow to Light Lemon Skin: The honeydew's skin should be a pale yellow to light lemon color, rather than overly green. This colour indicates ripeness and sweetness.
By following these steps and tips, you can create a vibrant and refreshing juice that's perfect for quenching your thirst and providing a burst of natural flavor. Enjoy!
