Taste
The combination of sweet pears, crisp cucumbers, aromatic fennel, and zingy ginger creates a balanced medley of flavours, perfectly rounded off with a hint of cooling mint.
Ingredients
2 pears
1/2 small fennel bulb
1 ginger piece, 2cm
1 handful mint leaves
2 cucumbers
Qty: 600 ml
Serves: 2
Ingredient Tips
Chill your ingredients: Refrigerate the pears and cucumbers before juicing for an extra refreshing drink.
Adjust ginger: If you prefer a milder taste, reduce the amount of ginger or leave it out entirely. Conversely, for a spicier kick, add a little more.
Enhance the flavour: A splash of lemon juice can elevate the flavour and add a touch of tanginess.
Preparation
Pear
Remove the hard wooden stems
Juice whole or cut in half if too big to fit into the wide chute
Cucumber
Cut into chunks to fit down the chute
Juice with skin on
Ginger

Cut into thin pieces the size of your thumbnail leaving the skin on
Mint
Remove the leaves from the woody stems
Juice leaves in handfuls
Fennel
Remove the green stems and leaves (they can be juiced)
Cut into half and then slices to fit in the wide chute
Cold Press Juicing Method
When using a traditional cold press juicer use the following method to maximise the flavour and keep the juice following through the machine easily.
Start by feeding the mint leaves into the juicer, followed by the fennel pieces and the ginger.
Add the cucumber next, go slowly as the cucumber is soft and you don’t want to get a build-up of cucumber pulp in the juicer.
Lastly, juice the pears one at a time.
