How to make a Watermelon Cauli Cold Press Juice

Ingredients

prepared watermelon, cauliflower and chilli placed on wooden board ready for juicing
  • 1/8 Watermelon

  • 1/2 Cauliflower

  • 1 Red Chilli - long (optional)

Preparation

Watermelon

  • Thinly slice the outer green skin leaving most of the white flesh intact (you can leave the skin on if you wish, it will change the colour and taste)

  • Cut the melon into slices, two fingers wide

  • Cut the slices in long strips, three fingers wide

Cauliflower

  • Remove leaves

  • Break apart the florets into pieces

  • Cut the stem to fit in the chute

Red Chilli

  • Cut off the stalk end

  • Cut in half lengthways and remove the seeds if you don’t want it too hot, otherwise, leave them in

Method

  1. Watermelon: Add the cut watermelon pieces to the juicer and extract the juice.

  2. Red Chilli (if using): Juice the long red chilli according to your preference for spiciness. Adjust the amount based on your taste preferences.

  3. Cauliflower: Begin by slowly adding the cauliflower florets to the juicer. Once the florets are juiced, gradually add the cauliflower stems to extract all the juice.
