How to make Kale Juice - Kuvings Juicer

Savour the goodness of a glass of freshly extracted juice, enriched with the remarkable benefits of kale and other wholesome ingredients. Kale, known as one of nature's superfoods, is a nutritional powerhouse. It is abundant in essential vitamins like vitamin A and vitamin C, as well as minerals and enzymes that contribute to overall health.

Ingredients

3 Kale Leaves

1 Cucumber

1 Pear

Method

To ensure the cleanliness of your ingredients and properly prepare kale for juicing using the Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer, follow these steps:

  1. Begin by washing all the ingredients, including the kale, under cool running water. Gently rub the kale leaves to remove any dirt.

  2. Fill a bowl or sink with water and soak the kale leaves for a few minutes. This helps to further loosen any dirt or residue that may be clinging to the leaves.

  3. Swirl the kale around in the water to dislodge any remaining impurities.

  4. Rinse the kale once again under running water to remove any loosened dirt and ensure it is clean.

  5. Shake off excess water or gently pat the kale dry using a paper towels.

  6. Cut the ingredients, including the kale, as needed to fit the chute of your Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer.

  7. Juice the ingredients in the juicer, alternating between the different ingredients. This will help ensure even distribution of flavours and maximise juice extraction.

Tips:

  • It is best not to have kale on an empty stomach as this may cause heartburn, so this recipe works best as a late morning, or after, juice.

  • The Kuvings REVO830 is ideally suited for juicing Kale, with its dedicated feeding chute and chopping auger.

  • It is highly recommended, if not using the REVO830, or for better juicer preservation when juicing stringy or fibrous ingredients, to cut them into around 40mm long pieces. This helps reduce the likelihood of juicer blockage, jamming or lack of juice yield.
