Make a Long Life Juice

Description

Wow, this juice tastes seriously good!!!

The ingredients are packed with many health benefits known to cleanse the blood of plaque and promote good bacteria in the colon. It has a sweet vegetable flavour with a slightly peppery taste from the radishes and a nice tang from the whole lemon and sauerkraut juice.


Ingredients

  • 3 carrots

  • 3 radishes

  • 2 red apples

  • 1 baby beetroot

  • 2 tbsp sauerkraut juice

  • 1 lemon

Juicing Time: 5 mins

Juice Qty: 650ml

Preparation

Radish

  • Cut in half

  • Juice with skin on

Carrots

  • Cut carrots lengthwise once

  • If larger carrots are used cut again lengthwise

Baby Beetroot

  • Cut in half or quarters if larger

  • Juice with skin on (you can also juice the leaves and stems).

Apples

  • Remove the stems and remove any stickers

  • Juice apples whole with skin and seeds.

  • Cut in half or quarters if too big to fit into the wide chute.

Lemon

  • Remove stickers and cut off any hard end points

  • Slice lemons into rounds with skin on to give more flavour and get more juice from each lemon.

Sauerkraut

  • Pour off 2 tbsp of juice into a small container

Method

Keep the cap closed at the start to blend the first couple of ingredients.

Begin juicing the radishes. Add them in one by one then juice the carrots also one-half at a time. Go slow and let the juice machine juice each half before adding in another.

You can now pour the sauerkraut juice into the juicer.

Add the beetroot halves one at a time and let the juice mix in before opening the cap to release the juice into the jug.

Next juice each of the apples straight into the jug and finish with the slices of lemon.

 

Tip: If you don’t have enough sauerkraut juice in the jar you can put 2 tbsp of the sauerkraut through the juicer.
