Ingredients
1 Banana
1 Cup oat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp bicarb soda
1 cup almond milk
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp vanilla essence
Olive oil for frying
Toppings; fruit, ice cream, maple syrup etc.
Method
Prepare the Batter:
Put all of your ingredients into your Kuvings Nutri Blender and blend until smooth.
Cook the Pancakes:
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly coat it with olive oil.
Pour ¼ cups of batter onto the pan to form a pancake (the size is up to you).
Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until bubbles form on the surface of the pancake.
Flip the pancake and cook for another 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Put onto a oven tray and keep warm in the oven.
Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more olive oil to the pan as needed.
Serve:
Serve the pancakes warm with your favourite toppings, such as maple syrup, fresh berries, banana, lemon, sugar, ice cream or dairy-free yoghurt.
Tips:
The batter will naturally thicken upon standing, so just add more milk as you go to thin the batter out.
If you want a thin crepe version, add ½ cup additional milk
Double the recipe to make more.
